So I want to tell you what I think of "Hair One" from Sally Beauty- they call it their version of "Wen".
First, let me tell you I have severe food allergies-including to sulfites, so I have to have specialized shampoo, soaps, etc. I first found out about it almost 1.5 years ago. I first started with $15/bottle (small one too!) of shampoo and conditioner- and I loved the product, but the price! I have 3 kids to feed! LOL
so, then I went on to L'oreal sulfite free, which wasn't bad, but again, $7/bottle and they were smaller than the first ones! Then I went to Sally to see if they had a good alternative. Well....
I tried the Argon Oil first, so totally fried out my hair, it felt like straw! So I switched to Ion, which really didn't do much better, then I went to Brazilian Keratin shampoo/conditioner from Walmart. By this point I don't care about pricy, I want my hair to be healthy again. This didn't really do much, in fact, it seemed a bit more dry than before.
Then I broke down and went back to Sally for their version of "Wen". I knew Wen was expensive, so I was hoping this would work well.
I didn't get a big change in my hair- it may be breaking off less, and it is slightly less dry, BUT.... it is $11.99/bottle and it lasted 4 uses! Yea, so not happy. Won't be trying Wen unless they give it to me! LOL
I guess it is back to the $15/bottle of shampoo/conditioner to see if I can restore my hair and then progress from there....
